STATESBORO, GA – March 8, 2017- Three Tree Coffee Roasters is hosting a special Spirit Night to benefit Ogeechee Riverkeeper from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 441 S. Main St., Suite 1A in downtown Statesboro.

Three Tree will donate 20 percent of proceeds from this evening to Ogeechee Riverkeeper to aid in the nonprofit organization’s mission to preserve, protect and improve the water quality of the Ogeechee River basin.

Three Tree uses coffee to accomplish their mission to be a source of life in three ways including empowering the farmer, ending human trafficking, and engaging the community. Their beans come from all over the world and each roast of their single-origin coffees displays the unique flavors of the specific regions.

“We are thankful to Three Tree Coffee Roasters for hosting this charity evening,” Ogeechee Riverkeeper Executive Director Emily Markesteyn Kurilla said. “Engaging the community is such a huge part of both Ogeechee Riverkeeper and Three Tree’s mission, so we are really looking forward to this opportunity to connect with the Statesboro community by sharing our mission and how to become involved with our organization.”

Ogeechee Riverkeeper raises awareness and aggressively responds to critical water issues advocating for the Ogeechee River basin and its people. Since 2005 Ogeechee Riverkeeper has amplified the voices of concerned citizens and strengthened their efforts to protect their rivers and communities.
